09.11.08
The first ride of the night saw the Senior A Graders in a fast paced 12
lap race. Line honours went to Daniel Anderson, who has returned
to the track after a couple of years break. Second place went to
his brother Darren Anderson, with third place going to Tim Fulton.
The vets 10 lap race for the night saw six riders lining up, including

followed by N Hellowell and A Wilson.
In the Senior B 10 lap race, Jai Sutton put in a gutsy effort with two
laps to go coming from the back of the field with his brother Pierce
Sutton and Melissa Drogemuller trying to stay with him. J Sutton
crossed the line in first position with P Sutton second, M Drogemuller
third and Emma Mardon fourth.

and Dylan Fewster on the bell. D Fewster was able to overtake her
to finish the race in first position. C Wakeling came in second,
followed by S Campbell, Liza Wakeling and Jessica Shore.
There were only two riders in the Junior B four lap scratch.

finish with Nicole Goldring, Dan Anderson and T Fulton taking the top
spots. They were followed in by D Anderson and Rhyse Carpenter.
A two lap handicap race for the vets saw N Patterson cross the finish in
first place with A Wilson, Gary Carpenter, P Werner, N Hellowell and

The Senior B three lap handicap saw the group together as the bell went
but again the Sutton brothers dominated the top places with P Sutton

fourth.

bike length ahead of J Burke.
A Second one lap timed dash saw S Litchfield post a personal best time
of 49.97 seconds and C Hellowell a time of 41.75 seconds.
A 24 lap points race was hotly contested by the Senior A graders.
Every six laps a whistle is blown to indicate a sprint lap. The
first four riders across the line earn points, at the end of the race
the points are tallied and the winner announced. T Fulton won this
event by a good margin. Second was R Carpenter, third D Anderson,
N Goldring in fourth, followed by Dan Anderson.
The vets, Junior A and Junior B all took part in their respective grades
in elimination races. With K Rohrlach taking out the vets, J
