Scheduled Rides
We cater for cyclists of all ages, skill levels and disciplines. You will enjoy a friendly welcoming atmosphere for beginner riders to find your feet (or wheels as it were) and give you a chance to learn racing skills from our more experienced members.

2017 Winter Road Racing Season
WHEN: commences Saturday, April 29
WHERE: Whyalla Cycling Clubrooms at McBryde Terrace.
2017 season caters for riders wanting to participate in road cycling in a controlled safe group environment with fellow riders.
The season incorporates a number of challenging rides from a variety of different locations including Port Lincoln, Cowell and Stirling North/Quorn.
A number of rides have been identified as "Come & Try" rides and are open to all interested riders wanting to have a try, so if you're keen we welcome all new riders.

Friday Track Racing Night
Juniors and seniors start racing from 6.30pm.
All riders get to participate in a variety of races; these may include a scratch race and a mix of points, elimination, keirin, pursuit and sprint races depending on numbers.
The track is open for warm-up from 5.30pm.
All riders holding a Cycling Australia licence are welcome.

Mad Mile Community Ride
Tuesday evenings, during daylight saving
Sign on from 5.30pm, ride starts 6.00pm
6.0km each lap - you choose to ride any number of laps, up to five laps.
An untimed ride for all rider ages and skill levels.

Junior: 5:00pm - 6:30pm (Junior Coach: Keith Gibbons)
Senior: 6.30pm - Late i (Senior Coach: Malcolm Clasohm)

Saturday 1 April 2017
Generous Cash Prizes, Vouchers for Juniors, Charcoal Chicken, Fully Catered Canteen and Bar.
Come and cheer on the locals and support our club, gold coin donation entry.

2017 Club Track Championship & Presentation Night
Friday 7th April & Saturday 8th April 2017
Friday sign on from 5.45 - 6.15pm; racing starts at 6.30pm.
Saturday sign on and warm up from 9.15am; racing starts at 10.00am.
Presentation Night at the WCC Clubrooms starts at 6.00pm.

Be Safe Be Seen - Bike SA presentation
WHEN: 7.30pm-8.00pm Tuesday March 29, 2016
WHERE: Whyalla Cycling Club House at McBryde Terrace.
WHAT YOU LEARN: the types of crashes most often resulting in cycling casualty, and strategies to avoid them.
Every registered attendee receives a safety gift pack containing: saddle bag, backpack cover, slap bands and free three-month membership to Bike SA. Membership includes comprehensive personal accident and public liability insurance.
